Our robotics club teacher, Mr. Rampelt, organized a sumo fight competetion. The aim was to make a robot that pushes your oponents robot off the platform. I used a Ultrasonic sonar module to detect the other robot, and then push it off the edge by driving forward. This was the project I created in Robotics Club that sparked my interest to create all my other projects. It senses the edge of the table (using IR), and objects in front of it (with sonar).

Below is a demo of the robot sensing objects infront of it, and the edge of a table to avoid falling off.
